Call Frequency Limit

In-hospital on-call frequency no more than once every seven nights, no averaging

Post-Shift Recovery

A minimum of at least 10 hours off work after a day shift and a minimum of 12 hours off work after a night shift

BeaconGME residency programs are designed to give you a high-quality training experience with clear early-career pathways. Residents are incentivized to practice within a designated in-network hospital partner for the first two years after residency. This pathway helps ensure a smooth transition into your first attending role and aligns your development with workforce needs. While participation is voluntary, the program is designed to make staying in-network a compelling choice for your early career

BeaconGME is built to support your choices and career goals. If you decide to explore a path outside an in-network hospital after residency, the early-career pathway includes a pre-agreed repayment amount that is clearly explained from the very beginning. This ensures you know your options and can make decisions confidently, while still having the freedom to follow the career that’s right for you
